Why Choose Ascent Plumbing?

When it comes to choosing a plumbing contractor for either a small home repair or to use as a sub contractor on a new construction project or whole house remodel - there are a lot of things to consider. As a homeowner you want to rest assured that the professional coming to your home to perform the work is not only qualified, but that they won't take advantage of you and try to sell you on replumbing your whole house unnecessarily. As a General Contractor you know that you are only as good as your subs. If your client has a bad experience with one of your subcontractors it can put the whole project, and your reputation for repeat business, in jeopardy.

Here's what sets us apart:

1.) We Communicate - A lot

Thanks to Customer Resource Management (CRMs) tools like Housecall Pro we are able to keep our clients up to date on arrival times/completion times. All work performed on every project is documented with notes and pictures of the work performed and is then passed along to our clients with their invoice. This ensures that we keep accurate records of what work is being done and adds transparency between us and the homeowner or general contractor.

In addition to automated updates, we can also be reached by call or text Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm, or by email at skyler@ascentplumbingaz.com.

2.) We Exceed Plumbing Code and License Standards

Construction codes and license standards are the MINIMUM requirements - why stop there? We don't believe you should.

We avoid approved material/products like Type "M" Copper, Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC), gate valves and Shark Bite Fittings altogether and opt to use higher grade material/products like Type "L" Copper, PEX, 1/4 turn angle stops/ball valves and Pro Press/Soldered copper fittings on all of our installs. This is to ensure that we can, not only offer our 2 year workmanship warranty, but to also provide a product that will last as long as possible.

The Arizona Registrar of Contractors has Minimum Workmanship Standards that all Plumbers in Arizona must abide by. If a licensed plumbing contractor is responsible for any of the following, they will be required to fix it:

1.) "Leakage from any soil, waste, vent gas or water piping."

2.) "Faucet or valve leak."

3.) "Defective plumbing fixtures or trim fittings."

4.) "Stopped up sewers and drains."

5.) "Plumbing fixture loose at floor."

6.) "Vents or other penetrations located in roof valley."

So even though this list is a great baseline to cover common plumbing install issues, it doesn't account for things like: shower valves/fixtures being un-plumb or un-level, hot/cold shut off valves for faucets being un-level, or soldered pipes being installed with a clean and professional appearance. These may be viewed as "nice but not necessary", but to us they are the details that ultimately produce, not only a product that lasts, but that is aesthetically pleasing as well.

3.) We Don't Treat Your Home Like Our Home, We Treat It Better

When someone says that they will treat your home as if it were their own, what does that mean exactly? How are they keeping their home? For all you know, their home could be in a constant state of disarray. We feel it's more important to emphasize that, while we are in your home, work boots will be covered, surfaces will be protected, and the jobsite will be left cleaner than when we arrived.

When a plumbing need or emergency arises, the team at Ascent Plumbing is not showing up to up-sell you on a high ticket item to fatten their commission - because our technicians don't work on commission. We see the customer/client relationship as just that, a relationship.

We are here to serve you and to do right by you.
